Four Comet Bay College students have been praised for their contributions at the recent School Sport Australia National Championships.
Cooper Osborne, 15, Charlize Thompson, 15, Maddison Rimmer, 15, and Ollie Martin, 12, each represented WA in their respective AFL teams and all returned from the competition with a bronze medal.
School Sport WA manager Peter Smith recognised their impressive “skill, spirit and sportsmanship” during the competition.
“The Department of Education through School Sport WA respectfully requests that [their] personal accomplishments, commitment, hard work and contribution to the success of their teams be acknowledged…so that this achievement can gain the recognition it deserves,” he said.
