Comet Bay College students and staff raised in excess of $800 today, our Free Dress Day, supporting our local Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club.
We would like to extend our thanks to the volunteers at Secret Harbour Life Saving Club, who visited the college in support of our free dress day fundraiser. In addition to setting up their display during lunch, club members spoke to our year 7 classes about lifesaving and the cadet program. Students got to watch and trial CPR on dummies with the latest resuscitation equipment. They were also very patient in answering a lot of ‘what if’ questions about sharks!
