Navy Chef Visit

Our Year 9 Food Extension and Year 12 Food Science and Technology students were recently supported by Royal Australian Navy Chefs to prepare for our ANZAC Ceremony morning tea. LS Tenielle Walter, SMN Jordan Lillimagi, and AB Kelly Clear visited us on Thursday 2nd May, to assist with the preparation of approximately 750 pieces of finger food and platters for the event.

Students also demonstrated high level table service skills as part of the ANZAC Ceremony morning tea following the ceremony on Friday 3rd May. The students received numerous compliments not only on the food, but also regarding their professional presentation and attitude.  Congratulations to all involved on a magnificent effort!

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks and appreciation to the HMAS Stirling, and the Navy Community Engagement Team for their ongoing support of our college.
