HASS Interactive Sand Table

Mrs Tyrrell’s Year 8 HASS class were the first class at CBC to use our new interactive sand table.  They used the sand table to investigate how 3-dimensional landforms can be shown on a flat screen.  The students had the opportunity to construct landforms out of sand and view the projection on a computer screen.  There was much “ohhing” and “ahhing” as they saw their creations change in real time on the screen behind the sand table.
