Year 11 ATAR Design Photography students set out on an academic excursion to Perth City on the 10th of August to complete a practical photoshoot for their Semester 2 Portfolio. The content and focus of their practical work was based on the social and cultural aspects of the City, and marketing Perth as a one stop destination for tourists looking to explore and experience the cultural and social activities that a city like Perth offers as an unforgettable experience.
Students embarked on the Perth Central Business District area, as well as the beautiful Elizabeth Quay, capturing images of these areas which would showcase them as potential tourist hotspots. Students thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the day, working exceptionally well together in small groups to accomplish the task set in the outlines of the Curriculum.
