HASS students annually participate in the Rockingham “How would you improve your community?” Competition sponsored by Bendigo Bank. Year 9 Extension and GAT students involved this year identified a range of ventures that could improve their community. Each student or group presented their ideas to their class, who then determined which entry would move forwards to the school level. Congratulations to Chloe Wolfe who submitted the winning presentation of ‘I Care Kits’ for homeless people. Chloe has won $300 and will represent Comet Bay College at the regional level. She will compete with students from other schools in the local area. We wish her all the best in this final stage of the competition.
