Back to Back State Champions!
The Eagles Cup has the highest participation rate in Western Australia for any school sport with over 9000 students playing, including teams from all Government and Private schools. Comet Bay College Australian Football Specialist Program students won the State Title on Saturday defeating Mazenod College by 9 points at Domain Stadium. An amazing effort winning the State Title Back to Back after defeating Trinity College by 7 points in 2014’s Grand Final.
Best on Ground was Jake Howes (Year 9) for the second year in a row. Other standout performers on the day were Jarvis Pina, Marshall McLaren, Clifton Stack and Alex Farrugia. Jake Howes was the team captain and Jarivs Pina and Kalieb Larson were the Vice Captains.
Again, The Program has confirmed it’s status as the Benchmark of Football Programs in WA schools.
